I hear many times people say that their short haired dogs do not require grooming. I do agree that they need much less grooming than long haired dogs but they still shed their fur, get dirty coats, feet and ears and need their toe nails and paw pads clipped and cleared for good mobility and hygiene and so a good de-shed groom every couple of months can really make a difference to the amount of loose fur in your house and the dogs overall well-being. This lovely Whippet enjoys a regular 2 monthly de-shed with a soft rubber zoom groom followed by a hydrobath and Pet Therapy Essential Oil Spa Sponge Treatment, leaving a beautifully clean, clear coat and skin and glossy finish. Full details of the types of essential oil Spa sponge treatments available are detailed on the pamper page of the website.
It is important to keep dogs warm whilst Essential oil treatments soak into their skin and after the bath before drying thoroughly, especially as Whippets are prone to the cold.
